The Comité Départemental de Cyclotourisme de l'Aude has some 770 members and a dozen clubs. While the Covid-19 pandemic may have put a damper on their statistics, many clubs are still going strong. So go for it! There are many reasons to cycle in Aude. Tourist, cultural or sporting, but also human: the sense of welcome and conviviality is very much present in the Cathar territory.
