The city of Carcassonne has a 15 km loop ideal for a walk or bike ride from the port of the Canal du Midi
Departure from the port of the Canal du Midi, in front of the train station. Discovering the city of Carcassonne on foot is a classic, but by bike it's an even more charming experience. From the Canal du Midi to the banks of the Aude, passing by the Place Carnot, the Halles and the Jacobin Gate; from the Moulins du Roi to the Pont-Vieux, passing by the Porte Narbonnaise of the medieval city: a loop of nearly 15 km to discover the inescapable monuments of the city. You can also rent bikes at Génération VTT, on the port of the Canal du Midi.
