Between his sojourns in the Paris of the Belle Époque, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a regular summer visitor to this large family home south of Bordeaux, acquired in 1883 by his mother, Countess Adèle de Toulouse-Lautrec. The famous painter died here in 1901 at the age of 36.
