A former long-distance runner, Christian Freschi has experienced the pitfalls of regular practice: back pain, mishandled joints, ligaments and bullied tendons... Not determined to give up his passion, this engineer, at the head of an aeronautical subcontracting company, then created a tailor-made shoe for himself. Called Enko, it is distinguished by a unique damping system, both mechanical and configurable. Its patented double sole has more than fifty parts and includes a set of springs proportional to the rider's weight. In this way, it better absorbs the shocks inherent to running and allows its owners, of all ages, to reconcile fitness and pleasure. The Enko running, which can be used on roads, tracks or forest roads, is guaranteed for 2,000 km - when classic shoes need to be replaced every 300 to 400 km. Manufactured in Castelnaudary (except for the footwear due to lack of know-how), this revolutionary French shoe was awarded in the Sport-Bio Tech and Health category at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (the world's leading trade show for technological innovation in consumer electronics) in January 2016.
