Created by Christophe Le Camus and his wife Catherine, Equisure is a connected security system that allows a rider on a buggy to prevent help in the event of a problem. Composed of two boxes - one fixed on the bridle, on the horse's head, the other on the person's helmet - the device is activated in the event of a fall, by sending an alert SMS to pre-registered numbers using a mobile application. Equisure then signals the position of the victim, but also that of his horse and can measure the severity of the fall - if the rider is not able to deactivate the signal, the call will automatically be considered serious and help will be dispatched on the spot. Equisure is mainly aimed at those who practice horseback riding - especially those who enjoy long, outdoor rides alone with their horses - but also at their instructors or relatives who can follow them from a distance. The company is hosted by Créaude, a support structure for innovative structures in the Aude department. She was selected to be part of the Occitania delegation that visited the CES in Las Vegas in early 2018.
