FÊTE DE L'OIGNON À CITOU

Since 1997, this small village, typical of the Black Mountain, has organised the Citou Sweet Onion Festival every year on the ^first Sunday in September, a must-attend event for many local producers. All have the Cathar Country label, attesting to the quality of the products on offer: onions, meat (lamb, pig...), delicatessen, goat's cheese, honey... a beautiful showcase of local products from the Vallée de l'Argent Double. A qualitative selection that gives the opportunity to meet breeders and cultivators, in a festive and friendly atmosphere. During this event, many activities are organized to the rhythm of the bandas' music. A tasting of onion soup is also offered to visitors, a real treat!
