THE HUTS OF FLEURY
A seaside resort that makes a pleasant stopover for families and walkers, very popular with photographers in Fleury.
A former fishing village, Les cabanes de Fleury once consisted of modest reed huts, typical of 19th-century Aude coastal villages. Today, this pretty seaside resort is a pleasant stopover for families and walkers, and a favorite with photographers. Its beautiful, wild beach, filled with beautiful driftwood, stretches all the way to Saint-Pierre-la-Mer. It's also a dream haven for yachtsmen, with 306 berths year-round and 51 more in summer, on the harbor's pontoons near the mouth of the River Aude.
