Discover the Saint-Victor hermitage, a sumptuous belvedere in Fontjoncouse.
The view is breathtaking at an altitude of 420 metres. On a clear day, just outside the village, you need to take the footpath: a good hour and a half's walk takes you to this sumptuous belvedere (it can take up to 2 hours with children). The climb may be steep in places, but the surprising panorama is a fine reward: miles of garrigue, hills dotted with castles, ponds meeting the sea to the east, the Montagne Noire to the north, the Pyrenees and the Canigou peak to the south.
