Over 1,200 windsurfers from 30 countries around the world come to Gruissan to compete in speed, freestyle, concerts, and a "beach bar".

Kite challenge, Wing challenge, Wind challenge! Open your wings for this gathering, launched in 2001 on the Plage des Chalets in Gruissan by Philippe Bru, and now a not-to-be-missed event for wind tamers! No fewer than 1,200 windsurfing pros and amateurs from 30 countries around the world come to compete over 3 days on this very windy spot. An incredible speed and freestyle race stretching over a 40 km course in the heart of May. Free equipment, temporary or annual licenses, preparatory coaching on request.
