Fresh seasonal produce is the promise of La Cocotte Fêlée in Lagrasse. Everything here is home-made and cooked by Nathan. A wide choice is offered à la carte. Renard enjoyed an arancini with two mushrooms, drizzled with cheese and served with a cream of mushroom soup, followed by a dessert of honey-roasted figs with a scoop of ice cream and crumble. Claire, with her smiling service, will seat you on the terrace or in the small dining room, allowing you to watch Nathan at work in the kitchen. A fine address, well worth the detour.
