Fresh seasonal produce is the promise of La Cocotte Fêlée in Lagrasse. Everything here is homemade and cooked by Nathan. The à la carte menu offers a wide choice, starting with an egg casserole with mushrooms and Comté cheese cream, followed by beef onglet, homemade potatoes and Auvergne blue cheese sauce, and ending with a twist on a lemon tart. Claire, with her smiling service, will seat you on the terrace or in the small dining room, allowing you to watch Nathan at work in the kitchen. A fine address, well worth the detour.
