In Port Leucate, you can choose between the long sandy beach with its pontoon and its pedestrian seafront, the naturist beach near the oyster farming centre, the wild beach of Mouret or the family beach in the heart of Leucate Plage. You can also enjoy the Briganti beach, sheltered from the tramontane wind and the Plagette cove, at the foot of the cliff. Further north is La Franqui and its "vintage" beach or the beach of Coussoules preserved and famous for its kitesurfing spot.
