LE CAPITOLE
A century-old brasserie offering wood-fired cooking with fresh vegetables and traditional dishes.
This centenarian brasserie, located on the outskirts of the city centre, is worth a visit. After a visit to Clos de la Lombarde, a Roman residential area, a stop at this address is essential. Change of ownership, change of set menu, a very friendly team will welcome you in a simple and friendly atmosphere. You will enjoy cuisine prepared over a wood fire and served with fresh vegetables, but also traditional dishes (deer stew, turkey blanquette, tielle in Sète style) and homemade desserts... especially its delicious chocolate coulant. It is a meeting point for friends, teachers of the district, former inhabitants of Narbonne, and also smart ones. Trick: within walking distance from the train station, come and enjoy a good dish between two trains.
