OBSERVATOIRE ASTRONOMIQUE DE NARBONNE - ASSOCIATION NARBONNAISE D'ASTRONOMIE POPULAIRE
Narbonne's astronomical observatory is located in a wooded park dominated by a castle, a place of seminars. This park, open to the public on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., is also the starting point for mountain biking and sports, as well as a botanical trail. Play areas are also available. The observatory has two observation cupolas, a planetarium that can accommodate 25 people (to discover and understand constellations, their mythology, celestial mechanics, etc.), and a multi-purpose room for conferences and meetings. You can come on Fridays in twos from 8:30 p.m., alone or with family, to contemplate some celestial objects according to weather conditions. For other activities (planetarium in particular), it is necessary to contact before coming.
