LE JARDIN ET LA SALLE DU PILIER
Garden planted on the site of the old ramparts for a fine view of Narbonne's Cathedral and Palace.
To the west of the cloister, you enter the garden planted on the site of the old ramparts. Look up at the two round towers, between which stands the synod wing, the main building of the Palais-Neuf. A fountain in the shape of a sundial indicates the cardinal points and the direction of major cities. A passageway lined with Corten steel leads to the Archbishop's terrace, home to the giant bench designed by artist Lilian Bourgeat. Take a photo!
