Restaurant with terrace, overlooking the sea, offering tapas and home cooking with seasonal products.
Finally a chef both good at decorating and cooking! Located in one of the first villas in Port la Nouvelle built in 1951, this beautiful building has regained its reputation. After extensive embellishment work, the architecture of the Villa has been preserved, offering an "inside-out" atmosphere in a Zen and cosy atmosphere with a Balinese decoration well thought out by Muriel, the owner of the property. We recommend the upper terrace (half-floor) with a nice view of the sea, the other terrace on the side is perfect for a cocktail with homemade tapas, and the dining room is just as pleasant. In his open kitchen, the chef offers homemade cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. Dishes served on boards range from cargolades, hearty salads, pig plums, and Josper wood-burning oven-grilled vegetables (the must), fish from the nearby fish market, Fish and chips, pizzas, charcoal mussels, tapas... the boards are all appetizing, the dishes are well made, and the portions generous. In high season, sweet treats and cocktails are offered non-stop. Villa Métis: an address as we like them.
