LES PAILHES
Hotel-restaurant with a terrace offering excellent local cuisine.
Still a northern guy who gets lost in Uzès! Born in the heart of the 19th century, Stéphane Dupont, a Belgian native, but at heart, has been in the kitchen since he opened the 19th-century castle to the public. In the restaurant, the large dining room welcomes you with its exposed stones and a beautiful fireplace. Different menus take on regional bipolar tones: the pan-fried foie gras and the magret pair with the waterzooï and the rabbit cooked in beer. Add to that Stéphane smokes his own salmon, that his bread is also homemade, as well as many terrines and candied fruits of all kinds. Excellent local cuisine, for a very friendly welcome. At the end of the meal, a walk in the park or a relaxing break on the terrace that opens onto the nearby lake adds to the charm of the place.
