FOIRE DE LA SAINT-FORT
The Saint-Fort is a traditional and historical fair since in 1863, a relic of this saint, extracted from the hunt kept in the church of Saint Seurin in Bordeaux, was donated to the church of Saint Denis de Pile. It was also the occasion for public festivities and a fair, which, a century ago, was one of the most important in the region. For 157 years, the town of Saint-Denis-de-Pile has celebrated the event with a lively day. On the program, livestock competitions, plant fair, wine fair, local market, trade fair, photo exhibition, small fairgrounds, musical entertainment and street artists.
