THE CATHARÔME
Restaurant offering homemade local cuisine based on fresh products.
Frédérique Lopez made her dream a reality with her restaurant in the village where she grew up. After having restored this former sheepfold, she started cooking for our delight. The restaurant is a pleasant blend of modernity and old stones, in memory of the past, the troughs, at the back of the restaurant, have been preserved. In the kitchen, Frederique prepares tasty local cuisine that highlights local produces, those of the nearby Mediterranean and the homemade one. The menu and the daily specials follow the seasons with dishes simmered with the first frost which alleviate in summertime. The service is fast and friendly. Enjoy the large yard at the rear of the restaurant where you can sit on the terrace contemplating the steeple of the village and the viaduct used by the tourist train. A small friendly point that is open for village's children registered on the canteen for lunch during the school year, around a large table, they feast and stand like adults.
