Très bon caveau excellent vin et enfin le bilan est arrivé. A tester très bientôt. On y trouve aussi des noix et bientôt des asperges et des fraises.. A suivre. ...

Delphine welcomed us to a very informative wine tasting.
The different wines we tried were excellent and good value.
We also purchased some red kiwi fruits which made a nice change from rich Christmas desserts.
Delphine was a lovely host and we learned a lot about wine and activities to do in the area.

We were somewhat surprised when we looked closely at the wine we purchased. We thought we had been tasting 2021 vintage but what we were sold was 2017. These are fairly basic wines (Pinot Noir and Malpere) so I would not have many expectations of 5 year old (non oak-aged) wines. We opened one bottle to try and although taste is still ok there is a lot of sediment. We have bought other wine in the region this week at similar price which is 2021 so puzzled why we are getting ‘old’ wine where old is not necessarily good.
