BRASSERIE ALIÉNOR
A beer brewed in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, this is the rather crazy idea of a Belgian who created the Aliénor beer brand in 2010 in Saint-Gervais. The company was relaunched in 2016 by Patrick Lalanne, manager of the club La Plage in Bordeaux. The beers are produced on the spot, based on malt and hops without any artificial flavouring. They are stored in shrink-wrapped plastic drums, such as water bottles, making them 100% recyclable. The range consists of blond, red and brown beers. A beer is made from freshly squeezed Marmande lemon juice. Bottles are customizable from a certain quantity (240) as well as recipes. We do not visit the factory and there is no shop even though the reception is open from Monday to Friday. Aliénior beers are distributed by France Boisson, they can also be found in supermarkets, wine shops and at the Saint-André de Cubzac market on Saturday mornings
