CHURCH OF SAINT-LAURENT-DU-MEDOC
This building dedicated to Saint Laurentus (hence the name of the city) was mentioned for the first time in 1099 by the Archbishop of Bordeaux. It has a particularity which attracts the curious ones. In fact, its apse is Romanesque and its bell tower is Gothic. This is the result of the various construction campaigns undertaken over the years. You can also see statues representing the seven deadly sins outdoor, above the door. Its square tower of the 14th century was used as a bell tower, and the Saint Jean altar have been recently renovated.
