CHATEAU BLANZAC
At the heart of the Côtes-de-Castillon appellation, the Blanzac castle is situated on the southern slope of one of the slopes dominating the Dordogne, on clay-clay-type soils based on Molasse molasses, over 18 hectares. Véronique and Bernard Depons bring special care to their domain: harvest per parcel, vinification on soft and prolonged maceration, with an average duration of 2 years. This is the heart of our oenologists as well as the welcome of Véronique and Bernard who will also share their passion for horseback riding. The Château Blanzac côtes 2000 was awarded the gold medal at the competition of the Aquitaine wines of Bordeaux and the Blanzac 2001 castle, the Silver medal. Opinion of oenologists on Château Blanzac prestige prestige prestige 2001: brilliant ruby dress. Subtle and refined nose where the red fruits and flavours of oriental spices coexist. Fine mouth. Chateau Blanzac côtes 2005: Dress: Dark ruby. Nose: black cherry, caramel, vanilla, almonds, plum, roasted prune. The attack is wooded on firm tannins.
