CHÂTEAU CHARRON SECRET DES ROCHES
The vineyard extends over 26 hectares and is planted on a clay terroir with a high proportion of limestone. Since 2011, Valérie Germain and Sébastien Cazaux have been at the helm of this ancient château dating back to 1731. The estate offers wines from the Blaye-côtes-de-bordeaux appellation. Among the wines on offer is "Secret de Charron 2012", a Merlot aged for twenty-four months in barrel, offering intense aromas of cocoa, toast and vanilla. The estate also offers other wines such as "Les Gruppes Vieilles Vignes 2011" and "Les Gruppes Vieilles Vignes Élevé en fût de chêne 2010". Château Charron does not offer tastings or sales at the estate.
