CHAI DU CHÂTEAU D'EYRAN
The restoration of the Château d'Eyran vineyard has been carried out since 1984 by Brigitte, Stéphane and Charles Savigneux - 13th generation to work the vines. Located at the gates of Bordeaux, on Graves soils of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, this 25 hectare vineyard produces red wine on 23.5 hectares (Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 45% and Petit Verdot 5%), and since 2016, white wine on 1.5 hectare (Sauvignon 65% and Sémillon 35%). Whether you push the doors of the property for a tasting visit or just to go to the shop, the pretty view of the barrel cellar will not leave you indifferent. The visit takes place in this new cellar. The route is so well thought out that even if it rains that day, you will enjoy it just as much. Good to know: the wines of Château d'Eyran and Château Bastian are sold at very fair prices. The welcome is pleasant and there is no lack of technical information. If you have the time, and with respect for the privacy of its occupants, a glance at the building housing the original cellar is also worth a visit!
