LOU GASCOUN
Founded in 1948 by Maurice Lataste, Lou Gascoun has built its reputation for nearly 50 years on a single product: the famous yellow box of pork liver pâté made from a family recipe. From the uncontrollable pork liver pâté, to dishes cooked with lamprey, veal tripe and feet or eel, to duck confit and foie gras, Lou Gascoun is clearly associated with Bordeaux cuisine. Now owned by the Martin family, the Label Rouge pâté pâtés made from free-range farm pigs from the South-West, fed on cereals developed by the Martin family in January 2001, will make Lou Gascoun the leader on this market. Tasting Lou Gascoun products is in fact tasting the traditional recipes of the Southwest concocted by hand. Good news, you will find it almost everywhere! Whether it's an aperitif, a picnic or a family lunch, we all have a good reason to succumb to temptation.
