This trail invites you to take a quiet interlude along the Hérault river, the Mediterranean and the Canal du Midi. The Verdisses protected area, a veritable green lung, covers 600 hectares. If you're lucky, you may come across a European cistude, a small freshwater turtle, or the European bee-eater, a bird of remarkable color.
Note : access to trail marker n°6 is possible if Belle Isle park is open, otherwise you'll have to return to the starting point after reaching marker n°5.
