Near the banks of the Hérault, stands Notre-Dame-du-Grau. A former hermitage from the5th century, this Benedictine church, then called "Notre-Dame-d'Aigues-Vives", was enlarged in the 16th century and consecrated in 1609. Its facade has a portal with Doric columns, topped by a statue of the Virgin from the old entrance of the cathedral of Agde. Inside, a single nave vaulted with ribbed ceilings, is surrounded by six chapels dedicated to the Virgin and local saints.
