FESTIVAL DES VINS D'ANIANE
For more than twenty years, this festival has been the annual meeting place for epicureans, be they amateurs, novices or professionals. A true showcase of the excellence of the terroirs of Aniane and the surrounding area, it brings together 33 winegrowers in a festive spirit. These offer guided tours of the region, workshops and master classes, tasting initiations, not to mention gourmet meal workshops. That's not all: an "off" festival offers, during the three days before the festival kicks off, attractive activities and atypical events such as this "canoe rosé", a canoe descent starting from the Pont du Diable and ending with a tasting of the winegrowers' rosés, with your feet in the water; or the "horizontal tasting" of the great estates of the Aniane terroirs, orchestrated by a renowned sommelier in the majestic setting of the Chapelle des Pénitents. All animations, workshops and dinner require an online reservation on the festival website.
