BULLES ET DÔMES À L'ASTRONARIUM
This exceptional site is well known to amateur astronomers of the first hour. Today called Astronarium, it was formerly called Aniane observatory then Geospace. In the 1980s, it was the flagship of the French Astronomy Association, teeming with amateur activities, especially during the summers, and one could meet great names, astronomers and journalists. Then the site was abandoned, looted and its infrastructures deteriorated... It was necessary to rehabilitate this exceptional site installed at the top of a beautiful wooded hill, at the exit of the small commune of Aniane. Today, the observatory has been saved and has been equipped with atypical accommodation, bubbles and transparent domes to sleep peacefully under the stars, without the slightest inconvenience! And the test is perfectly transformed... The Spatial, Mars & Venus, Celestial bubbles, Elegance and Army Experience domes offer their share of night-time pleasures. Most of these accommodations are heated, so they can be lived in even in winter, and they have very pleasant optional activities. Each has its own private spa. Imagine a bubbling bath under the stars! As the observatory is obliged to organise public or private evenings every month, depending on the astronomical events of the moment. The association Arts & Astres manages them. In addition to observing the sky, the programme includes a visit to the large dome. A magical immersion in the starry sky.
