A very pleasant walk through vineyards, hills, woods and garrigue, taking in a typically Minervois landscape.
Between the foothills of the Montagne Noire and the Minervois plain, Azillanet offers you a very pleasant walk through vineyards, hills, woods and garrigue, which allows you to appreciate a typical Minervois landscape, in the scent of the Mediterranean scrubland. It is an opportunity to discover the know-how of the local producers and to stock up on good bottles. What is a mourel ? It is an elongated hill formed by erosion. The area presents a succession of uncultivated rocky ridges and marly depressions occupied by the vine. The rock at your feet is rough and streaked with darker lines, it is a sandstone. The marl and sandstone are the result of the deposition by the rivers, 45 million years ago, of the sediments torn from the mountain. This is what makes the specificity and the quality of this land which invites you to a tasting full of authenticity and conviviality.
