The glassed-in dining room has a classic decoration in white tones, two rooms, one bistro and the other gastro. The subdued lights bring a note of intimacy for romantic meals. Restaurant Saint Clair with Balaruc les bains
As for the cuisine, PERFECT!!!!! Nothing to say, but when you go to the restaurant you pay for a whole! Le Commis and its chef of row completed by very spoiled.
Indeed, we were not painful guests (at least I think), we were and by far the best guests of lunch (in terms of bill). We were 8 people, we had for € per person is almost 800€ on all..., we enjoyed 2 bottles of aperitif white, three bottles of wine red by eating, taken menus at all prices... and champagnesss (it is not a fault, 3 S for three bottles) to complement the anniversary of Mami.
Meal, as I said it excellent, just flat-screen on macaroni, let us go... Get the cake of Granny who we were commissioned for the occasion (Cake presented to the table, with candles, candles and all the frills... very nice, Mais Gâteau presented to the black chocolate, and served chocolate cake white... Strange the transformation...), to accompany it first bottle of champagne to celebrate opportunity. Then a second..., was no longer in the dining room, we were the last, that did not stop the cleaning lady from tackling cleaning in front of us, and we were still with table.

But it was nothing ..... And there hang you, it was 17:00 (it is a real little late, but when you are in this style of restaurant and that the guests, who consume more is three bottles of champagne more digestive, I think an hour ago...the) shopper (who has 51ans what is really the performance of the shopper, due to 51ans to do... in short I do not judge) comes to tell me personally, I site: "you will need whether you think of going (whereas the bottle opened since only 3ou4minutes), because it is done late and you must that I go break" and it sets out again in the cuisine... I did not succeed in answering it nothing on the blow... It sellotaped me... We have finished quickly the bottle, so that He can go break... But before a few explanations are obligatory... A pointed made him all the same that we had consumed, and actually not bad leaving a beautiful bill, and all the same €10 tip, he told me he was not him who had decided this, but it was its chef-of- row (which was next to him) and which tells us, I site: "it is not my problem which is essential what consumed you that changes nothing for me, then you have to you that you request to leave", I nicely pointed made him that it was necessary changed trade. It is a pity that the owners were not!!!!!
I stay deafened by this all the same, and I remains speechless, because myself in the restoration, I never heard this, and if my staff allowed itself to say this, it would be TRANSFERS immediately.
I find that moved, especially that consumed, and admit that it was not the case, it is not to do. A SHAME, that spoiled me my meal, spoiled this pleasant moment. And, that the standard of the restaurant is essential that is unqualifiable, but even more from one restaurant that gourmet and is listed in the guides including MICHELIN and the GAULT AND MILLAU...
