The old wooden shop of the Coucourus House, between the Central Halles and Madeleine Square, is always attracting attention. Inside, the shop gathers a beautiful selection of poultry, cured and country products. Daniel Martinez, as a good professional, travels regularly in Aveyron and Tarn to select the best products. Also in this shop: many preserves of high quality cooked dishes, dried mushrooms, honey and other local products.

Friendly staff but the chicken was dry and was lacking salt and seasoning. We were hoping for a juicy French rotisserie chicken with all the flavor France has to offer but unfortunately we were disappointed by the taste. We paid 21€ for a chicken and we should’ve had the courage to bring it back.

I have really been looking forward to this rotisserie chicken and unfortunately it was a total disappointment.

I spent 21€ in hope I would have purchased a premium product. Instead, I received a rotisserie chicken that was way too dry, lacked flavor and salt, it didn’t seem fresh, although I had previously ordered it for the evening to be freshly made.

Unfortunately this ruined my dinner that I had planned that night. Not recommended. Next time I go back to the supermarket where you pay a quarter of the price. Too bad as I wanted to support a local business…
