Domaine de la Barthe, in the Eychenne family since the early 20th century, was taken over by Yves and Viera in the 1960s. It offers fine, controlled wines, gorged with the sun of the garrigue and born of clay-limestone soils typical of the region. Their diversified vineyards (Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Muscat d'Alexandrie...) stretch along the slopes of the Canal du Midi, offering a broad palette of aromas. The Métamorphose and Eurythmie cuvées have won awards at the Languedoc Grand Vin competitions.

Sadly a lady, who happened to be very annoyed, asked us what we wanted, what we were doing there in a very unpleasant, even rude, manner. She wasn't keen at all on attending us. So, we left. Without wines, without anything. Thanks for nothing. A complete disgrace.
