To the east of Béziers, Bernard Julien, a talented and convinced Mediterranean winegrower, exploits all the possibilities of his 100 ha of vineyards. Its south-facing vines offer an exceptional palette of about twenty different grape varieties, from the very Mediterranean, grenache, tempranillo, nieluccio, to the stars of Bordeaux, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Also pinot noir and gewurtztrminer. On his terroir, with red clay-limestone soils mixed with gravel and pebbles, worthy of a great vintage, Bernard Julien produces racy wines that exude Mediterranean expression.
