CLOS ROMAIN
This is the story of a couple of oléiculteurs olive growers. Roman, born in the capital, took over the family estate abandoned after completing his studies in Montpellier. Céline, native of the Vosges, has a history license at the University of Lyon but has always been attracted to the work of the vineyard, eventually integrating an environmental education centre. It is in the context of winemaking and oenology training that it has entered the life of the lawyer converted into a farmer. When the latter picks Up the keys, about 350 years ago, Le Clos Romain is a vast ha radius at the foot of Vissou's peak in the town of Cabrières. Little or no sustained by the farmer responsible for exploitation, without water or electricity, the property will be re-established by the person who defines himself as "a wild", at ease in these 350 hectares of nature at an altitude of 350 metres. The 6 hectares of olive trees grown in organic are composed half of lucca, and for the other half of cunner, the emblematic olive of… the PDO of Nyons! An original orchard, thus producing a unique cuvée called Olivia in green, ripe and Black fruity juices.
