KALLISTE PIZZA
Kallisté comes from ancient Greek which means "the most beautiful". This is how the Greeks would have called the Isle of Beauty. From his Corsican roots, Jean-François, the owner of this establishment, essentially renowned for its pizzas, has not conceded anything. With his wife Corinne, her children Anna and Nicolas and even their grandmother Sylvie, they pay tribute to Corsica through their restaurant. As we can see, Kalliste pizza is a family business, which, after offering its pizzas in a truck, bought and renovated the place five years ago to serve a simple and authentic cuisine. Here, what we eat is homemade, from bread to pizza dough, from homemade burgers to grandmother Sylvie's daily specials, who, depending on the mood and seasonal products, will sometimes offer lentil sausage, rusty cuttlefish or even couscous. But the place is mainly dedicated to pizzas, available in different sizes (29 or 33 cm) and homemade recipes, from the most traditional to the most traditional specialities - we can guess it - Italian and Corsican: impossible of course to taste them all, but we can mention for example the Kallisté, made from tomatoes, pancetta, mozzarella, arugula, cherry tomatoes, Corsican coppa, parmesan reggiano, olive oil drizzle, Corsica (tomato, figatellu, mozzarella, Corsican cheese), or Calzone, Gorgone, Caliente, Quatro Stagioni, Caprese and many others... The local inhabitants have not been mistaken, they come to taste them from Mauguio, Mudaison or Lansargues, on site or delivered to their homes.
