Former inn for boatmen converted into a restaurant offering fine cuisine prepared with seasonal produce.

To reach the restaurant, take the winding road through the vineyards. The name, Le Pourquoi Pas, refers to a ship belonging to Jean-Baptiste Charcot, the French explorer who crossed the Arctic Circle in 1902. In the past, it was an inn that welcomed boatmen traveling on the Canal du Midi. Today, Renaud and Mathieu welcome you. The cuisine is delicious and refined, always prepared with seasonal produce, and the menu changes according to the season. Reservations are highly recommended!

Un très beau lieu et cadre. Si vous réservez en avance la table vous sera choisie en fonction de votre groupe. Et pour nous très bon choix! (2 adts et 1 ado et 2 enfs). Petite carte mais qui s'adapte pour tous. Pas pris de menu enfants et sans regret!! Une entrée pour eux a fait leurs bonheurs ! Petits bémols pour les desserts.
Attention, à votre GPS qui vous indiquera sans doute le plus rapide mais pas la plus accessible des routes!! Le mien m'a proposé de traverser des champs de vigne!!
