DOMAINE DE PIQUETALEN
Gîtes in a wine estate offering comfort for stays
Built around 1790 by Jean-François Curée, a faithful friend of Napoleon and deputy of the Pézenas region and Count de la Bedissiére, this place is famous because of the 6th century sarcophagus discovered on his land (now on display in the Louvre). Over time, it has been transformed into a wine estate (12 ha) and some of its buildings have taken on the function of a gîte. With its 140 m² it offers remarkable comfort for stays. It also benefits from a splendid view over the town of Pézenas and the foothills of the Montagne Noire.
