LE CLUB COIFFEUR HOMMES
A few steps from Charles de Gaulle square, between a fast-food and a pizza counter, there is a coiffeur for the most original of Montpellier. Here, we are far from the cliché of the nunuche hairdresser. This lounge, decorated in a retro-style style 60-70 (red and white egg chairs), is nestled in the back shop: the small entrance is only for the cash counter. The vocation is not just men's hair. Stéphane, a passionate enthusiast of modern and contemporary art, has decorated his collection of pieces of collection. No reproduction, the works exhibited are all referenced, such as this bram of Bram Van Velde, whose originals can be found at the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. We also find in this atypical lounge paintings by Roger Bonafe or local painter Vincent Avellaneda and a bronze of Picasso's hand. The tables are renewed regularly, Stéphane changes walls for perspective and to generate the curiosity of his clients.
