LE MUSEE DE LA VIGNE DU DOMAINE CASTAN
The Castan estate, run by an independent winemaker for 20 years, stretches between the garrigue and the Mediterranean. He is proud of his fine collection of sun-drenched terroir wines. Whites, reds, rosés but also muscat and cartagène. This domain has a particularity: its museum Les Emile vignerons, which reconstitutes each step of the work of the vine and the wine, in the course of the seasons, from the pruning to the harvest. Comportes, cart, copper sulphate machine, cooper's tools: Valérie and her brother Guilhem have recovered all the tools used by their grandparents and great-grandparents. A stroll through time. The visit ends with a tasting of organic wines.
