HAUTES TERRES DE COMBEROUSSE
You need to visit this place if you haven’t done it yet! In this family of winemakers from father to son, they have always favoured the quality of their products instead of quantity. They are located on 12 hectares of rather arid land perched at 150 meters above sea level and where exclusively white grape varieties are planted. In 2002 when Paul Reder replaced his father, he created some pretty vintages wines that have were cited and awarded in Coteaux-du-Languedoc and wines from France. For example the "grey grey" which is made from grey Aramon, a conservatory grape planted in the early 2000s, for two years the Roucaillatt which is the standard bearer of the range, based on Roussane, Rolle, white Grenache and a hint of Clairette. Paul opted for organic wines, on the principles of agroecology with the presence of flocks of sheep, which maintain the scrub-land against fires in summer and graze in winter. It is a nice estate, whose products are appreciated in France and beyond, especially by a German, Japanese and American clientele.
