Gastronomic inn on the banks of the Canal du Midi.

On the banks of the Canal du Midi, at the crossroads of the Aude and Hérault departments, Bruno Plana and Laurent Hund's gourmet inn is nestled in a former roadmender's house. These chefs offer a new take on Mediterranean cuisine. We tried the Lou Del Mitan menu, and what a delight it was: Caramelized Pumpkin Tarte Tatin followed by a Croustillant of Guinea Fowl Effiloché and Chestnut Splinters, Citrus Juice and Butternut Squash Cream. The plates are beautiful, and the cooking and juices are perfectly executed. A fine table!

Nous sommes venus dîner et nous sommes arrivés un petit peu en retard par rapport à ce qui était prévu et du coup Services plus que médiocre on a l’impression de les déranger sans compter le plat de résistance, plutôt moyen avec une courgette comme accompagnement!!!! des erreurs multiples lors du dîner, mais même en leur indiquant, ils ne veulent rien savoir. Je n’y retournerai plus. À éviter.

Juste parfait !
Repas de famille en ce dimanche de fin octobre. Tout a été parfait, accueil, conseil, présentation des mets. Un plaisir culinaire et avec des produits locaux et surtout de saison. Une carte de vins locaux riche mettant en valeur le savoir faire des vignerons occitans. Bref un vrai restaurant locavore offrant des prestations haut de gamme. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Une table à ne rater sous aucun prétexte !
