When Robert Eden and Kevin Parker acquired Château Maris in 1997, their motivation was to produce high-quality wines from the Minervois La Livinière region. Today, as pioneers of biodynamic viticulture, their wines stand out among the Languedoc estates and Château Maris is the first in Europe to obtain B Corporation® certification, a label recognized by the UN and the European Commission. In the cellar, we find red wines made from Syrah and Grenache grapes, white wines made from Grenache gris, and rosé wines made from Grenache gris and red grapes.

We followed up the vineyard visit with an excellent lunch in their sister restaurant, Grand Cafe Occitan in the neighbouring village of Felines Minervois. Very highly recommended.
