The Course Camarguaise is a traditional sport game recognized as sport by the State Secretariat for Youth and Sports. The razeteur in white tries to catch award-winning strings and acorns placed on the front and horns of the bull in the arena. This game is practised without inflicting pain to the violent bull, there is no killing like in bullfighting. It is a tradition of evasion and bravery in which the bull and the razeteur play a vibrant ballet for the greatest pleasure of all. From March to November, the arenas and villages of Hérault and Gard live at the rhythm of the Bouvine (culture and bullfights).
