The fishermen's great festival. During this traditional festival, fishermen pick up the statue of saint Paul, the patron saint of the city in the church and then go out to the sea for the blessing of the boats as a tribute to sailors who have disappeared. The festival begins at 9.30am. with a celebration in honor of Saint-Paul navigator, then comes the traditional parade of Fête de la Mer (transporting the statue of Saint Paul) until boarding the boats (Alary wharf, Marina, West Bank). The whole schedule is at the tourist office of the city.
