CHURCH OF SAINT PAUL
Church located at the northeast corner of the medieval city wall, benefiting since 1965 from restoration campaigns
Fortified structure, the church is located at the corner of the medieval city wall. Its first Romanesque construction dates back to the beginning of the 12th century, but it was quickly destroyed in circumstances that remain unknown. Rebuilt from the remains in the 14th century, it was again demolished during a road raid in 1361. Its existence was punctuated by numerous reconstruction campaigns. Classified as a historical monument since 1919, the Saint-Paul church has been undergoing restoration work since 1965.
