FRONTIGNAN MUSEUM
Small museum presenting the history of the city of Frontignan and the local culture to discover many traditions.
This small museum is located in the former chapel of the white penitents. Behind its sculpted door, built in 1642, you will have the pleasure to discover the history of the city and the local culture. Numerous traditions are notably approached: the cooperage and the muscatel wine, the maritime activity, the nautical jousts, testimonies on the refinery which animated the city during some decades... It also brings together many objects of underwater archaeology, from Napoleonic ships that ran aground off the coast of the city.
