THE ARESQUIERS
The Aresquiers area includes a part of the Ingril pond and the Vic pond
The Aresquiers area includes the pebble beaches that is nearly located at the end of lido (that of Frontignan beach) towards Vic-la-Gardiole. It has an end of the Ingril lagoon and the Vic lagoon. It starts from beaches and rises towards the Aresquiers forest which is a protected site accessible to the public for walks (with signs). This wood is located in the commune of Vic-la-Gardiole and communicates with the protected zone of the former salinas of Frontignan : a Natura 2000 site labelled RAMSAR site because of its exceptional fauna and flora. The former salinas are an exceptional ornithological site for bird watching. There are no signs here but it's still accessible for walks. Paper guides are available at the Tourist Office.

Par contre, important problème de parking : en venant de Frontignan, il faut maintenant traverser le pont car il n'y a plus de parking le long de la plage
