Considered the finest French bridge in Gignac.
It is considered to be the most beautiful French bridge of the 18th century. Built by Bertrand Garripuy from 1776, its construction, interrupted during the French Revolution, took 36 years. Spanning some 173 meters, it features a central arch of over 48 meters spanning the Hérault River, presenting an audacious aerial silhouette for its time. To the left of the bridge, a staircase leads down to the river's banks, offering a bird's-eye view of this imposing monument. It has been listed as a historic monument since 1950.
