Museum showing how plastic hoops and synthetic canvas came to France
The Tambourithèque is a space dedicated to the Tambourin, a Languedoc ball game descended from the long-palm game. Here you'll discover the evolution of equipment, old posters and instruments on display. You'll learn the rules and techniques of the game, watch instruments being assembled and learn how to play the tambourine by facing the pediment. It's also the only tambourine factory in France, perpetuating traditional know-how.
